OnePlus Pushes the Limits with Its 15 Display
Details about OnePlus’ new flagship phones have emerged in a post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station. While the source hasn’t yet named the devices, it’s speculated that these models will be the Ace 6 and the OnePlus 15, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite 2 and are expected to be unveiled in October.
The leak could be particularly significant for those anticipating the OnePlus 15. According to the leak, the OnePlus 15’s display will offer a 1.5K resolution and a record-breaking 165Hz refresh rate. The company is also expected to introduce a specially designed upgraded performance engine designed to deliver a native 165fps gaming experience for the first time.
Previous leaks also claimed that the device would feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPO panel manufactured by BOE and feature ultra-thin bezels thanks to LIPO technology. The new leak also indicates that it will be introduced in a new “Moon Rock Black” color option, described as a next-generation version of “Super Black” and boasting “extremely high light absorption.”
The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto lens.
